Every photo
finds its people.

A photographer uploads the album. Cosnap works out who is in each photo and sends it to them, usually within minutes of publishing. Brands and organizers keep the whole event in one library their team can search.

Why photos go missing

Most event photos end up
in a folder nobody opens.

After most events, the photographer spends an evening sending links, and guests give up halfway through a gallery of strangers. The brand that paid for it all ends up with a shared drive nobody can search.

Photographers

You captured 2,000 photos. Now you have to send them.

Then you sort them, email links and answer “where are mine?” messages. A 500-runner race means 500 people waiting, and none of that is photography.

Guests and runners

You know there’s a photo of you somewhere.

It’s in a gallery with thousands of strangers, behind a bib search, or in a link that never reached you.

Brands and organizers

You paid for thousands of event photos and can’t find the one you need.

They sit in shared drives and inboxes, named IMG_4412. Finding the podium photo for Monday’s post takes an afternoon.

How it works

How a photo gets
from the camera to you.

The photographer uploads the album. Cosnap finds the faces in each photo and matches them to guests who have switched face matching on. Each guest sees only their own photos, in the iPhone app or on the web. Brands and organizers get the whole event in one searchable library, plus a QR code that signs people up at the event.

Privacy

Face matching only runs
for people who switch it on.

Matching people by face is useful, and it is also personal. These are the rules Cosnap follows.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Photos and personal data are encrypted on the way to us and while we store them.

Matching is opt-in

Nobody is matched until they switch it on, and they can turn it off or delete their reference photo at any time.

No matching for under-18s

Face matching stays off for under-18 accounts, and they never get a “photos of you” feed.

You choose who sees an album

Photographers set every album to public, unlisted or password-protected, and can share a single category instead.

FAQ

Common questions about Cosnap.

What is Cosnap?

Cosnap is an event photo platform. Photographers upload albums from races, weddings and other events. Cosnap matches each photo to the guests in it by face and sends it to them in the iPhone app or on the web. Brands and organizers use Cosnap Brands to keep every event photo in one searchable library and to track reach, downloads and shares.

How does Cosnap find my photos?

You add one clear reference photo of yourself and switch face matching on. When a photographer publishes an album you can see, Cosnap compares the faces in it with your reference photo and adds the matches to your account. New matches go out every 10 minutes, with a notification.

Is Cosnap free?

Searching for your photos is free, in the app and on the web. Some events make their photos free to download; for others the photographer sets a price per photo, from $0.99. Photographers can start on the free Starter plan with 20 GB, and brands can start on Cosnap Brands Free.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. Cosnap has an iPhone app. Everything a guest needs, from finding to downloading photos, also works in any phone browser at users.cosnap.ai, and you can add it to your home screen.

Who can see my face data?

Face matching only runs if you switch it on, and you can switch it off or delete your reference photo at any time. Under-18 accounts are never face-matched. You only ever see photos matched to you, and photographers decide whether each album is public, unlisted or password-protected.
